2. How does your music magazine represent particular social groups?

The way I have taken the photograph and the Mis en scene of the photograph for the front cover shows how I have represented particular social groups. The styles and brands of the clothing that the model is wearing are casual, he’s wearing skinny jeans, a T-shirt and converse, these are all things that you would expect the readers of this magazine to wear. His posture is also slightly slouched and this also represents the social group that would read this magazine because they are relaxed and relatively stress-free. His facial expression also does this because he’s not quite smiling, that would not suit the type of audience for this magazine; instead he is looking straight at the camera with a more serious expression.
